Review of House of Games (1987) by David J — 12 Sep 2008
Regular Mamet-y dialog and acting, (which in anyone else's movie would be called bad) super good moodiness, dark and all that. this is pretty good for a first film. Mantegna was very good, there was something I didn't really care for with Crouse.
....and I guess the main twist pretty early on, but it still got at some pretty good stuff....
