Love the plot and dialog, but Mamet's direction hurts. Doesn't matter if it's Lindsay Crouse or Campbell Scott in The Spanish Prisoner, everyone comes across as stiff and stilted. Would love to see a Mamet screenplay directed by someone like Scorsese.
