Despite the Fact that the direction of the movie was all a bit .... been there, done that...and covered up by the special effects of the film. Zhang Yimou's directing abilities pay off once again .
House of Flying daggers comes with an arsenal of dramatic sequences that will surely leave you with a tear or two in your eyes. Plus Zhang Ziyi's performance was simply terrific.
