A sweet, gentle, funny, heartfelt, humane, sincere, moving, emotional, excellently-acted, well-written, wonderful little movie that perfectly captures both its time period and the joys and heartaches of being 13, as well as the pressures of being the only child of a grieving single parent whose entire existence centers on yours.
And it has a FANTASTIC soundtrack. See it!
