I don't know why everyone is hating on this movie so much. It was a bit slow to start, but the twisted twistyness of it was COMPLETELY worth it. A room full of movie over-analyzing acting/directing majors and NONE of us saw some of them coming, matter-of-fact, I think there were audience members that STILL didn't catch one of the twists.
I guess I am biased, though. I am absolutely in love with Jennifer Lawrence... But all of my friends thanked me for dragging them out to see this one in the end... If you have female friends that are prone to screaming at jump-scares, by all means bring them.
