Review of Hour of the Wolf (1968) by Tony — 27 Sep 2008
I've never heard anyone else talk about this film, but so far it is easily my favorite of bergman's works. Haunting, but the finale contains some of the most effectively dreamlike imagery ever caught on film.
Takes it's time to build up, but the finale, while eerie and hallucinatory is absolutely breathtaking.
