Review of Hour of the Wolf (1968) by Courtney S — 20 May 2011
My first stab at Bergman, so I tried his only horror film. Pretty much what I expected. Engrossing in its atmosphere and beautifully shot, but ultimately an art film with a concept beyond its ability to express it.
That, or I'm just very thick-witted and easily bored. Actually, it's probably a combination of the two. Art bores me.
