The big problem that really kills the movie, is not only the bad story, but the cartoony animation and VERY undeveloped characters. The story sounds like something fitting...for a animated TV show, not an hour and half animated feature.

Because of this, the plot is squished together and never progresses. The characters are very undeveloped, Johnny tries to please the younger audience by being some "Hip Franken-homie", because he's so unfunny and undeveloped, it's very hard to like.

And people like Mavis or Dracula aren't very interesting at all, they're just generic-themed characters. And characters like the mummy or the werewolf...Ugh.
