Review of Hotel Transylvania (2012) by Mloy X — 05 Jun 2014
Wayne (Steve Buscemi): What? Now there's no sheep in the road. Let's go.
Murray (CeeLo Green): That was pretty sick, man.
Wayne (Steve Buscemi): You eat lamb chops, it's the same thing.
This film was interesting enough to watch once. As much as I love Adam Sandler, I couldn't stand his "vampire" voice, I liked the character but I didn't care for the accent. The rest of the cast were cool too, even Selena Gomez (who voiced Maviz) was a lot more tolerable being heard and not seen. The best character by far was Jonathan (voiced by Andy Samberg), he was actually funny and multi-dimensional, not like the rest of the characters who were pretty much the stereotype. Overall, this film had a pretty cute concept and I liked that it attempted to put a new spin on the old Dracula lore.
