Review of Hotel Transylvania (2012) by Yuri B — 27 Feb 2016

This movie was really well made. The main characters were interesting, and you get into the characters but you find yourself wanting to more about them. I really wanted to see more involvement with the other characters, but in this they are just back up characters and don't really do much, compared to HotelT 2.

As for the story, its quirky and straight forward. That being said, the story is just "Romance" themed, which is just a pretty basic concept for any story that a cartoon would throw at you. But, accompanying the story is the comedy. A lot of the jokes in this movie are funny, and very well done. Not only is the jokes just targeted for kids, but there is also many adult jokes in there too, which makes this a enjoyable movie to watch. But, as far as the plot and story goes its okay and easy to follow.

Summary of Plot/Story: Short, to-the-point, understandable, basic.

This movie does have its issues, but all movies have their issues. I'm not going to start naming them, as they have been covered by other reviews/critics.

Characters are very well done, quirky and full of energy. All of the characters are interesting and you find yourself getting attached to them for what they are.

Overall thoughts: Enjoyable, fun, full of energy, childish, family friendly, relatable-funny characters, Halloween based movie.
