This is one of those movies that really makes you think about how the human race operates. There is a chilling quote from Joaquin Phoenix's character that says "I think if people see this footage they'll say, 'oh my God that's horrible,' and then go on eating their dinners." And it's true.
"Hotel Rwanda" is an incredible movie about the Rwandan Genocide. Don Cheadle gives an amazing performance as Paul Rusesabagina, the hotel owner who does everything in his power to save the people of the Hôtel des Mille Collines.
"Hotel Rwanda" will leave you depressed most of the time, but there are a few uplifting moments. It leaves a lasting impression.
