Review of Hotel Rwanda (2004) by Vince A — 14 Jun 2010
A heartbreaking film that really captures the atrocity of genocide. Don Cheadle and Sophie Okonedo are captivating throughout the film. It really does a fantastic job in depiciting how help can come from individuals, but communities are only saved when people are shamed into help.
Although a small role, Joaquin does a great job, especially in examining how death that does not effect people personally is seen, but ignored. A fantastic film that really makes your heart hurt.
