Review of Hotel Rwanda (2004) by Marnie Z — 09 Apr 2011
This may be just a phase, but I watched 3 movies that are based on true stories in the last 3 days. Coincidence? Maybe. Like the other two films, this one also leaves an impact.
Hotel Rwanda is a terrifying revelation of how capable humans are of inhumanity... and how there are always some who have a good heart.
Don Cheadle probably gave the performance of a lifetime in this movie, as well as amazingly good acting by Sophie Okonedo. Tear-jerkers, really.
Emotional moments well supported by the score and the script is equally good.
Must-watch!
