Review of Hotel Chevalier (2007) by Corey C — 28 Feb 2008
When a director/writer can make a 10 minute movie and pour more meaning and feeling into it then I could probably do in a full feature, I'm instantly jealous. (I dunno if this is true though cause I've never tried.
) BUT, Hotel Chevalier is heartbreaking to anyone who has fallen in love and then been rejected. On one hand you want to be kind but on the other you want to be a bastard. This film perfectly exemplifies all these feelings.
.. and it's Natalie Portman, what's not to love?
