Review of Hot Tub Time Machine (2010) by Alberto G — 05 Jul 2012
Any fans of Back to the Future are in for a treat if they manage to view Steve Pink's Hot Tub Time Machine; Pink has taken a good number of leaves from the Back to the Future movies and in theory, it feels like a fourth movie in the collection via some hilarious add-ons.
Adam (John Cushak), Jacob (Clarke Duke) Nick (Craig Robinson) and Lou (Rob Corddry) are all on a lads night out in a ski resort after Lou had tried to commit suicide. The rest of the lads felt Lou needed a good pick-me-up and decided to book into a hotel room which had equipped with it a stylish hot tub.
The hot tub proves the instigator for sending the crew back into the 1980's (like a time machine) and they must work together to try and return to the present.
While it takes numerous cliches from Back to the Future, Back to the Future was an excellent film series (until the third) and to inject some hilariously rude humour to it makes this a very funny comedy which entails a pretty good script.
