Review of Hot Tub Time Machine (2010) by Joe C — 21 Dec 2012
You have to hand out points for creativity. You have four depressing but funny drunks who go back in time to a great night of their lives through a time portal that was in a run down hot tub in a winter lodge that only transported them through time because they dumped some illegal russian energy drink on the electrical circuits of the tub.
That is a creative plot. John Cusack was good as well as Craig Robinson, and Clark Duke. But of course, as it every low level comedy he does, Rob Corddry steals the freaking show. Its packed with great jokes that can make you laugh anytime you watch it, but because its a creative but probably the stupidest fucking idea that could ever hit paper, it gets a solid but definitely average review by me.
