Produced by Rashida Jones, this is another one of those hard-to-watch documentaries overseeing a topic that is popular and still upsets many people.

The porn industry is carefully analyzed here as several adult film actresses share their side of the story of how they got into the business.

The industry makes a lot of many that much is for certain and these days more 18-20 year olds join to not only make money but experience something new.

From one perspective it's a way to make ends meet like paying the bills or being able to afford college tuition.

But the bigger picture is that the porn industry isn't all shiny like it appears to be; a majority of girls working often feel victimized, sometimes they are forced to do things in front of the camera that they are not comfortable with, there's concern about health issues afterwards when you have too much sexual intercourse with many people, and the fact that these actresses have to hide this kind of lifestyle from their friends or family puts a lot of strain on them.

From what this documentary presents it's easy to take advantage of an 18 year-old girl and yet not many people understand that there is a big difference between being on-camera and off.

Most women prefer to be in control of what they are filming because of the demeaning, abuse-favoring genres that unfortunately arouse whoever's watching.

It's also a shame because the ones who watch porn (mostly men) just see these women as sexual objects and they don't care about who they are.

The producers a lot of the time don't even have faith in new girls they hire; their thinking is that some of them wont last a few months to a whole year.

The other big drawback for these girls is that even though they get paid to perform it's still very expensive for them to buy clothes, food, airplane tickets etc.

You can be mad or feel bad for these adult film stars but whatever the case there is a much darker side to the business than you'd realize.

Sex sells, porn is a money-maker, and whether we like it or not our society is infused with being overly-sexualized from pop stars to porn stars.
