Review of Hot Fuzz (2007) by Donny M — 16 Dec 2012
I was really looking forward to see this movie because I heard a lot about it. It met my expectations. It was very good, and it caught my attention. The storyline was really good. Hot Fuzz is about a high professional police officer who gets transferred to a small country city.
Although the city seems perfect, the small provincial things here and there make it very suspicious. The little things here and there kind of catch your attention and keep you motivated to keep watching and make you make assumptions.
It's really a grabber. It was kind of gory, but it was mostly obvious to tell that it was fake, and made it funny. Most of the movie was funny, but it also had that little suspense to it too. The characters were pretty funny too.
Simon Pegg, the main character Nicolas Angel, was really good with his part, along with his partner, Nick Frost. Just the spirits of the characters made it all piece together to actually be a movie and actually make sense.
A really funny movie.
