Review of Hot Fuzz (2007) by Brian S — 19 Aug 2018
From the director, writers and actors that brought us Shaun of the Dead (2004), which is one of the best zombie films ever made, comes an epic action comedy pic. The humor is definitely silly, but not to low brow either, but most importantly, it's really funny, this movie will make you laugh for sure, with a good performance by Simon Pegg and funny bloody action sequences that will be make you ask yourself : what the fuck am I watching!?.
The editing is also very well done and there's a good amount of references and throwbacks to classic action movies of the 80's and 90's. Overall, this is a must-see comedy. Recommended !!
