Review of Hot Fuzz (2007) by Jeremy C — 28 Aug 2013

Seeing this in the same day as Shaun of the Dead is a bit of a jarring experience, given the change in genre and all. That aside, though, this movie is just as hilarious and over-the-top as Shaun. It's a comedy, then a slasher film, then a detective film, and then an all-out action film, all without ever losing the comedy.

You won't see any of it coming, I promise...all you need to know is cops, guns, car chases, and a whole lot of fun.
