Made me think for long time afterwards. I' ve never been to war and as far as I can find out neither has Scott Cooper. Food for thought. In his Nobel Prize acceptance lecture Bob Dylan said that one of the three books that affected his life was All Quiet On The Western Front.
He read it because he had never read a book about war. When he finished it he said he never wanted to read another one.
