Review of Hostel: Part III (2011) by Nicholas M — 21 Dec 2011
I've seen worse sequels. The whole idea of an Illuminati-esque subculture of elite human hunters is awesome and not too farfetched considering how sick people are in this day and age but in this one and part 2 it seemed like they compromised the whole aesthetic that the movie sets up just to spring a sucker punch ending which is cool but turns the whole thing into a joke.
Spoiler: if a man can survive multiple stab wounds yet wait in a car to stab another guy when he finally makes it to the vehicle without bleeding to death and another guy can survive a massive explosion with only 3rd degree burns on his face then why did the first victim who merely got his face cut off not survive....and why did the prostitute not survive getting shot a few times. Although its only a movie the believability setup still could have been a little more consistent.
