Review of Hostel: Part II (2007) by Liam U — 07 Jan 2012
There is more focus on the victims and the chase this time around, and slightly less on the gore. There is also more focus on the antagonists, which is vaguely interesting. However, this is still rather dull and unimaginative. The ending is also completely ridiculous.
Second viewing - the ending is still ridiculous but I did like the build-up. Seeing the operations behind the Elite Hunting Club is interesting and Lauren German is a more likeable lead than Jay Hernandez was. Not without its faults, but perhaps a little too harshly criticised.
