Review of Hostel: Part II (2007) by Michael P — 07 Jun 2012

Well...I really didn't see the point in doing this one. It has taken what was good about the 1st one...and completely lost it. The torture and gore that made the original so compelling was all but non existent in this, choosing to show us the inner workings of the 'elite hunting' group instead.

While this was interesting, it lost its impact...and made it far less watchable, if a little boring at times. Ended with a playful twist on the original story...that might have worked with a bit more thought put into it.

Overall, this was disappointing.
