In many ways it's kind of the same but answers some questions about the first movie that were left unanswered the first time tells what happened to the one of characters that made it out from the first film an gives much more details on things that might not had been clear the first time just as creepy unsettling an graphic as the first film wall still being stand alone enough were if you don't see the first one you won't be lost top notch horror flick I rate up there with some of my favorite horror movies.
