Review of Hostel (2006) by Lena B — 11 Jul 2015
An entertaining movie that starts out as a college stoner movie and ends as bdsm torture porn. With pretty much nudity half of screen time this movie starts out looking like you ever day run of the mill teen movie, yet about halfway through the movie the directing stile changes, the lights get darker and the pans get wider, all signals of more of a horror movie directing style.
Not an intelectual movie by any stretch and but if torture porn, breasts and weed are of your interest this is the perfect movie. However I will say, while I had fun watching it, this movies not very complex so I dont see myself rewatching it, not worth then 8$ buy.
