Review of Horsemen (2009) by George C — 23 Oct 2009
The first hour and twenty minutes of this film are excellent. Dare I say it? I felt like I was watching Se7en for the first time again. You get pulled into the life of the main character while he follows a brutal serial killer that is out to do more than just plain murder.
BUT....the last thirty minutes are so bad...soooo bad, that it dropped to two stars for me, and frankly, it deserves worse. The ending is so terrible that it puts the rest of the film to complete shame. Compared to a thriller mystery classic like Se7en, this film is a turd simply because of the ending.
