Review of Horror Express (1972) by Michael J — 30 May 2012
Well, I hate to be so down on a movie starring Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing and Telly Savalas but all in all I did not really enjoy Horror Express all that much in my first time around with it. There are many redeeming qualities about this movie and some genuinely creepy moments along with (in my opinion) a very effective and scary monster.
But something just did not seem to flow well in this movie; at least for me anyhow. Some good ideas, some very creative ideas, some great MOMENTS but as an overall movie . . . 2 stars.
