Review of Horns (2013) by Carley E — 07 Feb 2015
Daniel Radcliffe is good as Ig Perrish, a young man accused of murdering his long time girlfriend, Merrin (Juno Temple). When he curses God at her make-shift memorial, he grows horns overnight and gradually becomes a "fallen" angel.
The film is successful here and there but overall fails to come together in any meaningful way. You keep waiting for it to get better but it never does. The make-up was great and Mr. Radcliffe is believable as the frustrated lover-angel-demon in search of the person who killed the love of his life.
Not a complete waste of time, but close.
