A David vs. Goliath/Rocky story. Perhaps the best sports movie ever made. Has Gene Hackman ever made a bad movie (except for Loose Cannons)? Let's run the picket fence at 'em! Was there ever a better character than Jimmy Chitwood, especially considering he only has about 5 lines in the entire movie?!?
