Review of Hoosiers (1986) by Sam G — 05 May 2012
Classic sports movie. Sets the bar for all others, and reminds me why I love high school basketball. Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper make a great team as the head of Hickory High, and it's the classic underdog story with a great old-school feel.
By the way, Jimmy Chitwood is the greatest fictional athlete of all-time. When he says "I'll make it", you know he will because the kid is money.
