Review of Hoosiers (1986) by Patrick K — 29 Jun 2008
This film never fails to give me a lump in my throat during the last moments of the film! Although it's predictable and a bit cheesy, seeing the team learn and get better right up to the final game they can reach makes up for it.
The always great Hackman, with the major task of gaining control and getting the best out of his slacking players, plus dealing with the locals set in their ways makes this one of the best sports movies.
