HOOP DREAMS is the rarest of documentaries. It's a documentary in which we actually care about the people its chosen as its subjects. Hoop Dreams follows two young men from eighth grade to college as they chase their elusive dreams of becoming big stars in the NBA.
You'll find yourself rooting for them, cheering for them, and crying for them. The dedication and determination of the filmmakers knows no bounds, and this films nearly three-hour running time goes by unnoticed as you're totally absorbed into their lives and their dreams.
