Review of Hook (1991) by Russell F — 08 Nov 2011
Ru-Fi-O! Unlock your imaginations and appreciate this work of cinematic art. Steven Spielberg's Hook is an overlooked and often underrated film full of magical moments. This charming fantasy is a unique take and rein-visioning of the Peter Pan story and it proposes an interesting question; what if Peter Pan grew up? Hook captures the imagination of its audience and takes them on a mystical adventure of Neverland, complete with pirates, lost boys, pixies, clocks and Bob Hoskins as Smee.
This is a wonderful story of Peter Pan's search to re-find himself and his youthful spirit. All you have to do is believe. Good-form-Steven!
