I cannot believe the low rating for this movie, Dustin Hoffman is THE Hook. He is by far the greatest live action actor to fill this role. It is full of child-like wonder and amazing performances from some young beloved actors.
Is it campy at moments yes, but its Peter Pan, it calls for a bit of camp. It is a wonderful rendition of a classic story and complete 90s nostalgia for all of us who grew up watching these guys. Robin, Hoffman, Roberts and Maggie Smith.
..how can this be anything by amazing. If you don't like this movie, you don't like childhood, or magic or imagination.
