Review of Hook (1991) by Andrea M — 02 Sep 2015
The more I watch this movie, the more I love it. Spielberg takes the charming tale of Peter Pan and adds more to the story. Yes, adds more.
Peter Pan, now refurring to himself as Peter Banning, soon realizes that his childhood was more extrodinary than he remembers. In fact, he was the very definition of childhood innocence.
When his children are kidnapped by the notorious Captain Hook, Peter has to let go of being the adult lawyer and return to being the boy who has dazzled the minds of children all over the world.
This is by far my favorite Spielberg movie mainly because it captures all of the magic he has ever brought to the screen.
