Review of Honeymoon (2014) by Ildefonso M — 10 Apr 2015
Sometimes it's better to stay under the sheets and not be brave enough to poke your head out to check the coast is clear. The film knows this and doesn't abuse it, rather giving attention to the relationship behind the newlyweds, and uncovering eerie secrets, and how wonderful it can be, you know, without the blood and body organs being puked in our face like most Hollywood garbage.
It's subtle in it's disturbing, and intriguing in it's terror that sort of feel like whispers. Well worth watching.
