Review of Honey (2003) by Marewa K — 22 Mar 2009
I have to say I liked this film. There was nothing really about it that set it apart from other dancing films lately, but it was still a joy to watch. The story was light at heart and about finding your place in the world.
I was impressed that the character was willing to resist temptation, and get her gear together and her head in the right place. The casting was good, and I think that even if they weren't the best roles, they worked well as a team.
The camera was nothing special but just a bit above average for this typical film. Overall the point was to make you feel good, which the film did, and inspire you to follow your dream.
