Review of Home for the Holidays (1995) by Eve B — 31 Aug 2007
Basically flawless movie-one of the best I've seen about families and roles they impose upon you. Going home for the holidays is a hell that most people can relate to. The scene with Holly H. in the car on the way home from the airport stuffed into a huge down coat her mom brought for to wear and she happens to look over at another adult in the back seat with his parents in front-they exchange a look that says it all. Hysterical!
But so many scenes are so touching and real-it's one of my favorite fims.
