Review of Home Alone: The Holiday Heist (2012) by Samuel F — 25 Dec 2013
The fifth "installment" of the series takes a step in the right direction following the fourth movie, but not too much of one. A couple of clever moments work here and there, but the film has idiotic and insane characters, unremarkable performances and bizarre jokes touching on pedophilia, broken relationships, dementia and alcoholism.
Still so-bad-its-good; still no reason to see a Home Alone film, save to laugh at it. John Hughes is rolling in his grave.
