Home Alone 3 lacks any of the warmth or wit of the first two films. There isn't even any real peril, the boy is off school with illness, not left behind while his family is in another state. In fact his family are in the house for most of the film.
This is a weak sequel and just highlights how good the Columbus Home Alone films were.
