After the tragic events of the first `Home Alone' film, Kevin McCallister is having a bit of a problem. He's been left by his family. Again. Only this time, he's not at home. He's alone in New York City after boarding the wrong flight instead of the one going to Miami. Kevin manages to hail a cab and is delivered to the doorsteps of the Plaza Hotel, where, using his father's credit card, he rents out a suite and has the time of his life.

Tim Curry, Dana Ivey, and Rob Schneider are wonderfully idiotic as the bumbling hotel employees who catch onto the fact that Kevin is really alone. Also the wet bandits (Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci) have escaped and are looking for him. This time there is that feel of more danger as Kevin tries to escape. Some of the jokes are hilarious as he keeps outwitting the crooks. Loads of fun, but not very fresh.
