Review of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) by Alfie F — 03 Jan 2019
Columbus may not be the world's greatest director. Here, he struggles with overlength, cartoonishness, and falling into sequel-itis, lamely copying much of the original's charm. However, what he does get right is the family humor.
And even more than that, as seen in both this franchise and the Harry Potter universe, he's one of the great casters in modern cinema.
