Review of Home Alone (1990) by Brett H — 07 Jan 2014
Holiday classic that everyone knows and everyone has seen! Home Alone is a very entertaining and completely implausible comedy, but Macaulay Culkin has a presence on screen that actors three times his age don't.
Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern are hilarious as the bumbling thieves who constantly get the hell beaten out of them, but it's always comedic (even though some of the stuff would SERIOUSLY hurt them). It's a perfect holiday film and every young kid's dream to have the house to themself, whether defending it or not.
