Review of Home (2017) by Ephrim Z — 06 Sep 2015

An okay kids movie that didn't work as well for adults. This animated movies have come under a lot of extra pressure over the years as they need to keep the young ones entertained while also appealing to the parents/adults that are bringing them to the movie.

This one fell a little short in my opinion. Jim Parsons plays he's "Sheldon" role perfectly, but I wasn't a big fan of Rihanna's character or there chemistry together. The story was okay, but again not geared towards me.

It was the jokes that didn't really appeal to both audiences that left me disappointed. Also, the movie actually felt long for only 93 minutes. Probably could have been as little as 75. There are definitely better family friendly movies out there, imo.
