Review of Holy Smoke (1921) by Leighton T — 14 Jan 2009
I applaud the acting, but otherwise it feels like the two actors weren't given enough of story around them. It has all the makings of a great indie, but falls short. The humor is a nice touch, but overall the film doesn't support it.
Keitel and Winslet make a great duo though, great spar after great spar.
