Review of Holy Motors (2012) by Cat R — 09 Sep 2014

The kind of film that catches your interest and you can't help but simply let it all happen. Although, for the first 20 minutes or so, it DARES you to stop watching, but again, since one has no idea what is going on during this time, the curiosity alone is enough to keep watching.

This is beyond strange and at times unsettling, and yet it is also filled with beautiful cinematography and a boat load of originality. By the end, it becomes a very personal watch as one can begin thinking about how to interpret the madness that is being witnessed with really no right answer.
