Review of Holy Motors (2012) by Lester Y — 16 Dec 2012
On-the-nose, whimsical and utterly psychedelic at most points but still surprisingly coherent and follows a straight narrative structure unlike other movies of its kind (rec: Holy Mountain, Inland Empire).
The first half is fucking flawless then it kinda wanes for a little bit although I actually really loved the Kylie segment. It ends on a flat note but it's a remarkably strong experience altogether.
