Review of Holy Man (1998) by Lucas Y — 06 Oct 2008
Unloved, unappreciated, underrated and unbelievable. 'Holy Man' is a wildy likeable and original work that boasts Eddie Murphy and Jeff Goldblum at their most glowing. Murphy delivers a different performance, far removed from his normal wise-cracking and Goldblum is himself but so crisp.
The plot is unusual but works brilliantly and the message is beautiful. Featuring a wonderful support cast and some quality moments, this is highly recommended.
