Review of Holmes & Watson (2018) by Zach A — 03 Jan 2019
Adding my first review here to contribute to bumping up the audience rating for these guys.
If I had listened to the critics reviews, I would have never gone and seen this movie - I'm so glad I went to make my own mind up.
It is classic Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. Silly, cringeworthy, disgusting at times, with some shock humour thrown in (namely the Titanic, Trump and Gun Control jokes!). It made us laugh the whole way through and we enjoyed the poking of fun at all the previous "smart" Sherlock and Watson characters.
There were some great cameos, and some good laugh out loud moments.
Not recommended if you don't like low-brow humour, but if you are fans of these two and don't mind letting go and getting a little bit silly it's definitely well worth a watch.
